If you love food, finding new sources for ingredients or learning a new cooking technique can be a memorable experience. My life has been abundantly rich with these adventures. From buying fresh blood oranges at a morning market in the Campo de’ Fiori, to being presented with a whole chicken to cook by my flatmates in Italy, to preparing an opulent picnic of pate with foraged juniper berries, blanched asparagus and anise cakes at an outdoor chamber concert, these “food memories” are deliciously satisfying.
We were recently introduced to an Organic Wild Blueberry grower in Maine that does monthly deliveries to various sites around New England. It was quite a treat to meet the truck and share the fun with our food loving friends.
